Scary Cute...

Ok really desperately trying to keep up with posting here! Busy never felt so crazy!! I have a feeling this is just the way it's going to be from now on, but I'm entirely grateful for it all! I feel blessed to be stressed because at the end of the day I have one amazing life, and am so lucky to not have any serious drama in my life! While scrapping has definitely been on the back burner lately, I did manage to put together a quick page last week. Now that fall has officially begun, and all the halloween decorations are out in the stores, i was inspired to create something halloweeny <----- lol!

First Day

Just wanted to share some pictures from the first day of school last week. This year Jenny started Kindergarten, and Kaiden started Preschool, needless to say it was a rough day for mommy :(. Jenny has been loving school so far. Kaiden is still having a really hard time, but i think it will get better as time goes on, and its definitely a good thing for him!

Inspired...

Hey everyone, I  have been sooo neglectful but it's gonna get better starting now! I have actually been scrapping, but just haven't gotten a chance to blog. I saw this layout on Crate Paper's blog last week, and I liked it so much, I created a page based on it! Here is the original one:

This layout was created by Dayna Howard

And here's my take on it:

Happy Monday everyone, have a great week!

In this House

Hi everyone, just stopping by to share a quick wall hanging I made this morning. Every so often I need to play a little, especially when I don't have enough time to sit and do a layout. I was blog sufing this morning, and saw this quote somewhere, I wish I could remember, and knew I wanted to use it on a wall hanging. I just gor the Daily Junque papers from Pink Paislee, and wanted to use them, so it was perfect timing! I embellished it with Crate Paper's layered chipboard from the Neighborhood collection. I painted the edges with gold crackle paint, and used Maya Road and Prima ribbons on it. The letters are from Basic Grey.

Thanks for looking :) Have a wonderful weekend. I'm hoping for a relaxing one indoors, with lots of party prep for Kaiden's birthday next week.

July Class

Wow, I've really been neglectful lately, but what can I say, life is crazy busy right now. Most of June was a blur as both kids had viral tummy infections, and now that summer's here, we will be travelling like crazy. There's also mine and kaiden's birthdays in July, so even more to do! Anyways stopping by really quick to share pictures of my July class at The paper Niche.

Remember

I'm back, I know so soon right! Here is a page I did of Shane and I in Naples for our ninth wedding anniversary back in November. I used up a ton of old and new stuff, and mixed a few companies, like Pink Paislee, Hambly, Heidi Swapp, and Girls Paperie. I love how fun, bright and almost messy this page is! Thanks for stopping by, see you next time.

My Girl

Seriously, these months are just flying right by! can't believe May is almost over! We've been so busy with end of the year stuff, new schools for Jenny and just enjoying the hot weather. I've definitely been slcking on keeping up with things around here, but I have lots to share. I will have to schedule some posts to get it all in! In the meantime here is a lyout I did a few weeks back when Paper Niche got in all the new gorgeous Crate stuff. This one is called "My Girl," and I made it with Emma's Shoppe.

"Enjoy The Little Things"

Wow, I can’t believe how long it’s been since my last post! I’m finally able to breathe a little, now that the semester is over! I was swamped with finals, dealines and projects for the past couple of weeks, and I’m so happy it’s all behind me now. I’m looking forward to a fun summer, with NO classes! Well I should say no school classes, lol, since I will be teaching scrapbooking classes again.

Here is my May class for The Paper Niche. It’s called “Enjoy the Little Things.” I used the My Neighborhood line from Crate Paper to create it, and had tons of fun, with all the layering of papers and embellishments. There’s even a hidden flip up pocket for four extra photos!

I will be teaching it on Wednesday May 18th from 6:30-8:30. For more info and to sign up, please visit paperniche.com

I’ll be back soon with a couple of new layouts to share! Have a great rest of the week.

The Sun will come out...

happy Monday...not!! I'm sure your Mondays are just as hectic as mine, with coming back from the weekend, numerous errands, school pick up and drop offs etc. Today has been pretty okay so far, not too crazy, I must be getting better at this jugggling stuff, lol! This morning's rain was much needed and welcomed. Kaiden seemed very intrigued with it too! I snapped a few quick photos of him looking outside, for the few moments he stood still all day.
Well March really kept me busy, and scrapbooking was just not possible. I'm hoping I get the chance to do some this week. I did get the chance to play a little this morning, while it was raining, and I made this tag. I've been wanting to play with inks and stuff for a while now, so I dabbled a little this morning. I used glimmer mists, and twinkling h2o's and the negative of Tim Holtz's flowers diecut for my "mask."

It's Friday!!!

Wow, of course my spring break flies by! I must say though, I've had quite a relaxing week, makes me want to drop out of school, lol, almost. I know in the end all of this will be worth it, so I'll keep on keeping on. Well Jen's suprise party was a success last Sunday. She was really surprised, and the look on her face was more than worth it for me. The things us parents will do, to make their kids happy! Here are some pics. Tomorrow we're of to Disney for her last and final birthday celebration. I think I might just be a tad bit more excited than her! Have a great weekend, and I'll be back with Disney pics soon.

let's party

Wow are we in March already? Where the heck did February go?! It's been a crazy couple of weeks for me, or more like couple of months! Ever since this semester started, there just doesn't seem like there's enough hours in the day. Of course that means leaving the fun stuff behind, and opting to do the real work, boringgg. Last weekend, I did manage to finally squeeze in some much needed me time, with the bestie, when we took Donna Downey's class at the Niche. It was a fabulous time, that ended rather quickly, but I had lots of fun, and Donna was superr cool. She's incredibly talented, what I wouldn't give for some of that to rub off on me, lol.
Well here we are in March, and around here that usually means partayy, as Jen's birthday is on the 6th. This year I didn't plan on having one, because we will be going to Disney the following week to celebrate. That said, I'm now planning two celebrations for her this weekend, that child is spoiled rotten, and loved beyond control! She decided she wanted an Ariel theme, so here I am searching for ideas at the last minute as usual. On Friday we're gonna celebrate with her class, with pizza, cupcakes and goody bags. On Sunday, we are surprising her with a small get together at her grandma's house. I'm on the hunt for cute ideas that won't take too much time, so I can actually pull it off, wish me luck! Here's some inspiration I've come across:

This is the set we are using.
