A Quick Mini

This was a quick little project I did last week. I've had these papers now for quite sometime and was hoping to get to them since before Christmas! This is the friendship line from Teresa Collins, I love her!! I've been a huge fan of her work since before she was on her own. I just love how clean and beautiful her lines are. This album took about three hours from start to finish, but I think most of that was deciding how to assemble it! I finally decided to just cut all the papers in half and use both sides of the papers, they were all too pretty. This is just the "base," I still have to go back and add more embellishments, but I loved the way it turned out. Of course there's pictures to add too, but that's a whole other project in itself. I was also thinking of making a couple more like it. ;)

It's that time again!

Yes people, it's party time at our house. I'm busy planning Jen's 4th birthday party. Did I just say 4!!!! I can't believe how big my little girl is getting :(. The only good thing about her birthday is that I get to plan a fabulous party!! So this year's theme is going to be Jenny's Candy Shop. Since it's just 4 weeks away I figure I better get started because we all know what a procrastinator I am. I picked up some tissue paper at Target yesterday to start working on some pom poms to hang from the ceiling. I originally saw the idea on Martha Stewart but I love the way this looks with the lanterns mixed in. So that's my next project for this week. I also have a couple quick layouts I worked on over the weekend, like I said quick, lol.

This one was made out of just scraps, from my would be Baby Shower for Kaiden. I still had to print pics of him to add to it!

A quick Christmas layout. I just love the look on his face, even though my face is cut off.

Yummy!

I stopped by The Paper Niche yesterday because I was a few minutes early to pick up Jen from school. Boy was that a bad idea for my wallet! Gine was putting out Webster's pages, and I was drooling! Wow how beautiful the new papers are. I came home with two of their collections, and I can't wait to start playing with them. Although I've loved them since they debuted a couple years back, I have a hard time working with them since it's not my style, but I will surely have fun! Their designs are always beautiful with amazing details. Be back soon with some layouts!

I can't wait to finally do some baby pages!!

This is new...

Yes it's been quite a while since I've made a card. I've always had intentions of making them from my scraps, that I've been collecting for years! But somehow I don't get to them as much as I would like to. I made this one Tuesday night for my hubby. I had a free night without the kids, and just needed a little scrappy time. It took me over an hour to make, but I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. One of our favorite things to do together is have tea every night after we put the kids down. It's our time to relax and catch up on each other's day. It's just one of those moments I'll always cherish.

Love is in the air!

Wow, it's february already, I am still in shock. but in an effort to stay on top of things this year, and not PROCRASTINATE, I've already started thinking, Valentines. I've been browsing the web, looking for ideas and some inspiration for crafts, and gifts, and Valentine goodies for Jen's class. Found these on Martha Stewart, too cute! Maybe we might make cupcakes, if we have time, or just decorate some from Publix.
This year i decided to include my sweet hubby in some fun stuff also. Usually Valentine's is all about Jen, and now Kaiden too. So I decided from now until Valentine's I'll write him a love note, and slip it in his lunchbox, just to remind him of all the reasons I love him so! I've already premade these, now I just have to fill them out, and sneak them in every night!
