Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Hope you are all having an exciting day. We are hoping to get some trick or treating done later this afternoon. I wanted to pop in and share my first halloween layout! I'm so proud of myself for actually getting one done, and actually having pictures printed already. These pics were from an event we went to on Wednesday at the library. Lastly, is a pic of our pumpkin this year, which Jenny of course choose to do a Hello Kitty theme, so cute!

"SUPER" cute!

I have to admit, this year's costumes were a total fluke, since originally Jenny wanted to be Belle, and I had no clue what we were going to do for kaiden. Well after hours of costume shopping on Monday, and no luck with finding Belle in her size, we came up with this! I love the fact that I was able to make them match, as I'm sure this will probably be the last year she lets us pick! My cutie pies!!

Busy busy busy

Wow, we have just been non stop this entire month! Lol, and when I thought things would slow down in November, we've already got plans for the first few weekends. I suppose it's a good thing, spending time with our friends and family. Last weekend was filled with lots of good stuff. We went to the fair on Friday, and enjoyed cotton candy, my fave, went to Krista's nephew's 3rd  birthday party on Saturday and finally the pumpkin patch on Sunday. This week has also been quite busy so far with costume shopping, Jen's halloween parade at school, trick or treating events, and the best part, a new baby! Our friends welcomed a little boy on Monday, who we had the pleasure of meeting, what a cutie pie! I love the fact that our children and our friends' children are all growing up together, it makes for wonderful memories and new friendships between them. Well I'm definitely filling up on the pictures, maybe one of these days I'll have time to scrap them, but for now, I'm trying to keep up with printing them! Here's a few snaps from this past weekend.

A New York Minute...

was exactly what this past weekend was for me. Jenny, my mom, and I took a quick (36 hours) trip to NY to spend some time with our family. It had been over two years since we had gone back for just family time, instead of funerals, like the past two times. We definitely made the most of our short visit there, spent lots of time with family, eating, shopping, laughing, etc. It was such a wonderful weekend, and I hope to get back there soon, hopefully for longer this time!

Happy Friday!!

Wow, I'm sooo happy that the week is over, and that Friday is finally here! I've actually had a really relaxing Friday, which made up for the crazy week I had. I hope the rest of the weekend stays that same way. I'm looking forward to spending some time with friends, a little scrappy time, and church. That's it, nothing crazy, lol, just wanna keep it nice and relaxing. We're headed to the park for the second time this week, to enjoy this gorgeous weather! Hope you will have a wonderful weekend too. Here's an 81/2 by 11 page I worked on this week.

SPOOKY

I'm already getting excited about Halloween, as it's always fun with the little ones! Here is a layout I did using last year's Pink Paislee's Halloween line. I think it's definitely one of my all time favorite lines. I am hoping to squeeze another layout or two from the rest of my collection, which I'll be sure to share!

Just a few more minutes...

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share one of my recent favorite photos. I don't know about you guys, but I never seem to have my camera around when something picture perfect and random is happening in my house! But Thursday night was my lucky night! As we were in the middle of operation bedtime, I was walking upstairs with my little guy, I saw Jen playing in her room, even though she was supposed to be in bed with her book waiting for daddy to read to her. It was the cutest thing! Earlier that afternoon we went to Toy's R Us, and she got a toy cash register, which she absolutely adores. She played with it for hours, and even said it was her favorite toy ever. Well anyways as I was coming up the stairs I saw this, and couldn't help but smile. So I grabbed my camera, which was closeby for once, and snapped this shot. I can't wait to scrap it. She is growing up so lightning fast, and these little moments are the ones I will miss the most.
