So thankful!

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with my inlaws last weekend. It's so nice to spend time with our loved ones, sometimes makes me wish we lived closer. We celebrated Thanksgiving on Saturday instead of Thursday and we were having so much fun, I hardly took any important pictures! On Wednesday before we left, Jenny and I made turkeys to help her remember what she was thankful for. Lol, I wrote them down as she told me, check out her list. I love it! Can't wait to put it on a layout, so she will always remember the little things she loved! She had a great time playing Twister with her cousins, she never sat still long enough for me to get a headshot. oh well, I guess it's more important tha she had a great time with her fanmily instead of pics, eh?

thinking outside of {my} box

I hope you had a great weekend. I had a very relaxing one, ran some errands and stayed in a little. I wanted to share a layout I did last week, but never got a chance to post. I used very subtle colors, which is usually not my style. It was fun to play and think outside of my box!

What's on my desk...

So most of my morning was spent working on my December class for the Paper Niche. I decided at the last minute to do a two page layout, and here I am, working away at it. They have become such a challenge for me now, since I've started doing one page layouts. But it sure is nice to fit alot more pics on a layout than usual! I used the My mind's Eye "I Believe" line for this. Sorry about the bad pics, as I just snapped a couple quickly. I'll post better ones, once the page is finally done! BTW T. G. I. F. !!!!

Home is...

where my heart is :). I got a chance to play a little today, and came up with this new layout, which is my fave at the moment! Am I the only person that feels that way about the newest layout they've done? I keep my most recent layout on my desk for a few days to just admire it, lol, I know I'm a weirdo! It's a good thing I don't scrap everyday, so I can look at it for a little while! I used papers from Crate, Pink Paislee, Seven Gypsies and Nikki Sivvils. I also used Maya Road and Making Memories chipboard shapes. I colored the shapes with Luminarte, and covered them with Rock Candy crackle paint. I even added rhinestones to the doors on the houses!
