Fit for a Prince!

Here are some of the many details I've been working on. Ok when I say some, I mean like two, lol! The palm tree is made from an empty gift wrap roll, and the leaves are from the dollar store! I've made two that will be added to a photo backdrop I'm working on. I know, it doesn't exactly look great here, but it will when I'm done! Of course I made some cutlery sets, with a dinosaur punch from Martha Stewart. The party hat is the theme I found at Birthday Express. My mom and hubby said, I had to come up with a different hat for Kaiden since he was the birthday boy, so I used the Dino image from the birthday hat, to create a crown for my little prince. I found the instructions for this on Creating Keepsakes. I think I could definitely add more to it, but will leave it as is, to keep it as masculine as possible! Well it's finally here, tomorrow is the big day!! I'll be back soon, with the party pics. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Let him eat cake!

hey everyone, just sharing a couple of pics from Kaiden's birthday at home, on Tuesday. Hope everyone is having a good week, mine is flying by! It always happens that way, when you have something to do, doesn't it? I'm still working on details for the party on Saturday. I just heard of the tropical storm that will be here, I can't believe it!!! We've gone all summer without a single storm, and of all the weekends! Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good weather!

A year ago today...

I gave birth to my handsome angel, Kaiden. It's so hard to believe a year has flown by, since God has blessed our family with this precious little miracle. I'm so thankful for every single moment we've had him in our lives. He brings our family so much joy, and makes us complete. I love you my sweet boy, and I hope you have many more wonderful, happy and healthy birthdays!

A new do

Hey all, hope you guys had a great weekend, I sure did. It was quite relaxing. Sunday, we had bbq for lunch, went to church, went for ice cream, and Kaiden got his first haircut, by daddy! This just confirms that he's no longer my baby, no more baby curls. Either way, I think he's adorable with his new do! Tomorrow is his actual birthday, and I'm hoping we'll have a really special day.

He looks like such a big boy!

A "mini" creative break!

Hi all, I can't believe we're almost halfway through July! Seriously, time flies. I've been so busy with planning Kaiden's birthday, I've haven't gotten a chance to blog much. I've been knee deep in the little details, that make the party so memorable. I'll have to share soon! In the meantime, I took a little break last night and created a mini banner. It's just that, mini, the triangles are only 2 1/4 inches wide! I think I'll be adding some pearls to it, but other than that, I think it turned out cute. The papers are Making Memories, and I used Cherry Limeade Glimmer Mists on the large pink Bazzill scalloped circles, then crumpled them. I pop mounted the smaller green scalloped circles on top and finished them with Thickers alphabet. Not sure what I'll do with it, but it's so cute!!
