A trip to the library

Yesterday i decided to take Jenny to the library to pick up some books. it was her first time there, and i haven't been in years either. I had to take out a library card, because they didn't have me in the system anymore! Well I don't think she understood the concept of being quiet. She said hi to everyone, and was super excited when she saw all the books in the kid's section. It was kind of cute. I kept whispering to her the whole time, and I think she finally started to grasp the idea. We'll definitely try it again soon. She loves to read so i'll have to keep it up.

For our Daddy...

A quick slide

For some reason, I can't seem to add this slide to the side of my page as an element...i'll keep trying

Layouts

These are the layouts i've been working on. They're simple, and I also used my old supplies on these, pretty happy with that. I need to put a dent in all my supplies before i can justify buying more!

My movie date

Today was such a wonderful day! I started out early, did my errands, and then I decided to do something with Jenny. I've always wanted to take her to the movie, but I thought she might be too young. Then that movie "Horton Hears a Who" came out and I wanted to take her soo bad, but we never got around to it. So I came home today and checked to see if it was still playng, & it was! So we were off to the movies, just me and my girl. It was so much fun to see her so excited, and into it. She had her own popcorn meal, which I discovered she loves popcorn. The theater was empty since we went to the 3:40 show, so she was able to talk and laugh all she wanted. She paid attention almost through the whole thing. Afterwards, when she spoke to her daddy, she told him she went to see the "big t.v.". How cute! These are the pics, we took. I have some more i will have to post later too.
Oh I ended up buying a sony cybershot, and changed my mind and bought a Cannon powershot again. But I absolutely love it. It's so flat and portable, so I'll always have it one me. Plus the sales guy convinced me to get a fancy memory card that will allow me to take pictures one right after the other with no delay. Plus it's a usb card at the same time, so i won't need my usb cord to transfer pics if i'm away from it. Pretty cool.

Soooo Mad

So i've actually been scrapping lately...ok last night, for myself. When I say myself I mean not a class or Design Team stuff, just random pictures. So I was all excited to take pics of them and post tonight, except my camera won't work! Arghhh...sooo mad. I'm on the fence about which kind to buy. I have a Cannon which I love, but it's a little too big to walk around with. So I need a flat camera to always carry on me, and I would also love an SLR. Hmm... Mother's Day is coming up.Well I guess I'll continue scrapping until I get my camera to work, or get a new one.

My life

Jenny turns 2!

Our Lil Family

Do you know what you're doing? No do you?

Jenny and her 'papa'

Jenny and 'Gama'

Ok so i'm playing catch on the past couple of months.

March

Well my beautiful little girl turned Two On March 6th and we had a Dora Birthday party for her. It was a last minute surprise for me that my mom and Krista put together. It was tons of fun, and I got some great pics thanks to Shelly.

Mid March

My Husband Shane got the call he was waiting for for almost a year. He was accepted into the Department of Homeland Security position he had been dreaming of. It's his dream job and his career. I'm so proud of him. However it meant him leaving us for four months to go train at the academy in Georgia. He left on April 14th. It's been a week since he's been gone, so far we've survived. He comes home this Friday. We can't wait! It won't be so bad however because i'll be so busy over the next three months, i'll hardly notice he's gone. But we definitely miss you Babe.

Love you, can't wait to see you...your girls

May Classes

Moments Like These (American Crafts and Ki paper)

Our Family (using new Pink Paislee papers)

Here are my two May classes. I'm particularly proud of them this time. It's been some time since I've done layouts so i was happy that I accomplished two.

I'm back...

I can't believe it's taken me so long to post. I really have to be better about it. Hopefully i will be. So much has been going on. Especially in my Scrap World. i've been so inspired lately by the most awesome design kits from The Paper Niche. Leah made last month's kit entitled Sophisticated Fun. It was definitely one of the most inspiring projects i've done this year. We had an awesome Niche Premiere last Thursday. It's catching on very nicely. i love seeing what the other girls on the team do with their kits as well. They are all so talented and inspiring. Here are my samples with the kit.
