It's time to Celebrate

Just wanted to share these cards I made for my besties' birthdays this past weekend. It's been so long since I've made cards,  mainly because I'm intimidated by them. However the design came together pretty quickly, so it was easy to duplicate a second one. I used Pink Paislee Sweetness papers and some stamps. I love how rewarding these were, might try my hand at some more soon! Thanks for looking. I'm in my scrap room tonight, making some tags for the kiddos and hubby's Valentine's presents tomorrow. :) Hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

Happy Thursday everyone! Today is my first "quiet" day for the week. I'm home with my lil guy for most of the day, catching up on schoolwork and housework along with errands, then it's off to school this evening. I did this layout over the weekend, from some scraps i had left over, along with some really old embellishments! I love it when I use up my old stuff, makes all the buying feel justified, ever so slightly. ;)

A mini

 Here again, this is definitely a record, lol! I wanted to share a little mini book that's still in progress. I started this oh sometime last year, when my boss Tammy gave me this Fancy Pants kit, a leftover from when they visited us at the store. I decided to do a mini instead of the usual layout because I had almost the whole line. So, my goal for this mini is just INSPIRATION, mostly in the form of quotes, which I've always loved. Here's what I've done so far.

Chichen Itza

Hope you all are having a great week, we're halfway to another weekend, woot!! This is my second page I've done from our Anniversary getaway. We visited the pyramids at Chichen Itza while we were in Mexico, what an awesome experience! School is crazy busy this semester, not really sure how I'm managing so well, but I sure hope it continues.

Destination: Adventure

I'm back to share another layout I had put together sometime around the holidays. These pics are from our 10 year anniversary vacation to Mexico in November 11'. I used Teresa Collins travelogue line and lots of brown and kraft. I've got over 500 pictures to scrap from that trip (out of 1200!) and I managed to scrap a whole 4! Simply the Best

Just popping in to share a quick layout I put together using Echo Park's "A Boy's Life" papers I picked up recently. I love the colors and patterns in this line. This picture is from about a year ago when my little guy was only 1 and a half. It's all flying by sooo fast :(.

Let them Eat Cake

Ok my first real post for this year, and it's a layout from last year, lol. It's one I did as a sample for the Paper Niche back when we got the Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth line in stock. I have a bunch more to share, stuff I've done here and there, amidst my crazy schedule. Some days I wonder if it will ever slow down, and I realize it probably won't and when it does I"m sure I'll want it all back! Blessed to be stressed as they say. I'm fighting a losing battle to the cold, can't wait til it's over. Until then, just gotta keep it moving! Have a great rest of the week.
