Our Girls Weekend

It's been such a great relaxing weekend with my two best friends. It's just what we've been needing . We've been scrapping, watching television, and just hanging around the house. We also have plans to go to dinner and a movie later, which should be fun,can't wait. I wish we could do this more often. The only down part is missing Jenny. It's hard staying away from her for so long.
Oh and some great news, i found out I'm having a nephew! My brother and his fiance are expecting in October and I just learned that it will be a boy. I'm so happy. It's time for a boy, enough pink around here.
i've also been busy planning my cousin's baby shower all week, she's having a girl and i'm sooo over these girly colors.

Thank You

Hey i'm back. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. An update, my aunt died on May 18th. Thank you all for yoiur words of encouragement. I've come to grips with the situation. I think the way my family responded, really helped me to cope with it better too. They all accepted it and were comforted by the fact that she's in a better place now. That made me feel better when i saw that even though they were sad, they wewre happy that her struggle was over. So thank you all again. I feel refreshed now, and ready to get back to normal.

SO stressed

Well, I don't know where to begin. I feel like things are just falling apart all around me. There's been so much going on lately, I haven't had a chance to post, or even scrap. So many deadlines, with school, work, home, etc. But most of all my heart is hurting right now. My aunt, Lolita who lives in Brazil is dying from Breast Cancer. I can't express how sad and hurt I am over this. But what's worse, is that my dad, her younger brother, is there with her right now, and they haven't seen each other in over 20 years, and she doesn't even know he's there. What's also sad is that she has a 10 year old daughter Lynn, who's going to be left without a mom.It's breaking my heart, just thinking about it. I guess I needed to write it down so I can put it somewhere because it can't fit in my heart or mind any longer.
Why does God take the good people? My aunt is an amazing person, so strong, and so beautiful. She's been battling this horrendous disease for a few years, and she stayed so positive about it, and had such hope, even I started hoping too. But I guess I should've known it would get her in the end. I've already lost two aunts, and a cousin to cancer. I HATE CANCER

I love this blog. Everyday I come home from work(in GA) and I check this website. I love to look at all of the pictures over and over. It helps me get through my days here. I get to see all of the things that I have missed. I think you should put more pics of you and Jenny. I can't wait to see you guys again in two weeks!

New pics for Daddy

I love these pics babe. This is the day she was talking to the coffee mugs in the dishwasher. I was busy doing the bills, and I heard her say "lie down gama," and when i looked over, she took my mom's coffee mug and was putting to lay on it's side in the dishwasher. Then she took yours and said "fit daddy," as she tried to fit it into a small opening. I couldn't help but smile, and grab my camera of course!

A trip to the library

Yesterday i decided to take Jenny to the library to pick up some books. it was her first time there, and i haven't been in years either. I had to take out a library card, because they didn't have me in the system anymore! Well I don't think she understood the concept of being quiet. She said hi to everyone, and was super excited when she saw all the books in the kid's section. It was kind of cute. I kept whispering to her the whole time, and I think she finally started to grasp the idea. We'll definitely try it again soon. She loves to read so i'll have to keep it up.
