Halloween Class

Hi everyone, I'm back finally! I can't believe how fast September flew by! We've been so so busy, but i wanted to post this layout, which is my newest class at the Paper Niche. I made this Halloween layout using Echo Park's new collection, Chillingsworth Manor. I'm so in love with all the great patterns and colors in this collection. They're definitely one of my favorite companies out there! Please excuse my terrible phone pic, as I seem to have lost my camera cord to upload my pics and properly edit them! I will redo these pics as soon as I find my cord, since it just doesn't capture the incredible details on here. I'll be teaching it on

Birthday Surprise!!

 So July 24th I turned 30, yes I'm still in shock! Mine and Kaiden's birthdays are only four days apart, and since we had his party, I didn't expect much for mine. Little did I know my hubby and two best friends were planning a weekend getaway to Daytona for me! My hubby told me about an hour before we left and I had to get packed and dressed within that hour! Here are a few pics from our weekend.

Kaiden's 3rd Birthday

I'm still trying to get over the fact that I have a three
year old. I can't believe how fast it went by, but today I'm so proud to have this little guy in our lives. He's so sweet, and such a momma's boy, I love him too much, if that's possible. :) Here are a few snapshots from his birthday party two weeks ago.

Happy Thursday! Here is a page I did using 

 October Afternoon's Boarding Pass collection. I've been hoarding um holding on to it for a little while. Shane travels for work, and he went to London earlier this year. I have tons of pics from his trip and I'm working on a two pager as well. I am still planning on adding embellishments to this, but it won't be anytime soon I'm sure! Have a great weekend!

Hey, back again to share a page in progress, I think! I used this paper from My Mind's Eye and because it's so busy, I wasn't sure how to continue here. I used pics from our Mexico trip last November, matted in grey, and used a Prima Mask with turquoise mist. I also added wooden letters fro Pink Paislee, which I misted with Tattered Angels wheat mist. I also added a rubon, a really old one from Scenic Route! I'm not sure what else I would like to add, but this is where I've left it. :) Have a great weekend!

Happy hump day! I'm off to work today, but I wanted to share another page Idid recently. This one came together in the strangest way. I looked around my room and tried to use what was out, on the floor or my desks, lol! I decided to stick to the grey, yellow, red and turquoise theme. I love the mix of colors and supplies on this one. These pictures are from Jenny's spring pictures back in March, right after her 6th birthday.

Hey everyone I hope you are all having a wonderful summer so far. I cam back from our Canada trip about a week or so ago, and I've been slowly getting back into the swing of things. We've been quite busy around here, even though my kids are home, it seems we have more to do, lol! I've been scrapping here and there as i get a chance, and i have some pages to share. Meeska Mouska Mickey Mouse

 Good Morning! So I spent a good part of the day making these, so I can mail them before I leave for vacation. All this time I was thinking I am going to be late, and I realized I will be mailing them out 5 weeks before the party! Oh well, better early than too late, which I usually always am. So here is what I came up with, and the best part? I had everything in my stash to make all 20, except the buttons, lol, not sure if that's a good thing or not! I decided to keep it simple for lack of time.

Sweet Sweet Summer time!!

Ahhh, summer, its finally here! The kids are out of school, which means no more waking up early, packing lunches, rushing out the house, etc. For the next 10 weeks, we get a small break, no deadlines, no schedules, just lots of fun! I'm sure I'm going to lose my mind before it's over, but for now I will enjoy it as much as possible. :-) We are headed to Canada next week, for a family wedding, and some touristy fun. I can't wait to see Niagara Falls, and visit Toronto. Can't wait to share pics when I get back. In the meantime, I do have a page to share. I did this a few weeks back in May at the Paper Niche, during a crop, my first crop in years!!  I;m working on Kaiden's 3rd birthday party invites, which i will share soon. Have a great week.

I was Featured!

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. What an awesome jam-packed weekend I had. On Saturdays I usually take Jenny to swimming lessons, and this Saturday Kaiden started lessons as well. I THOUGHT he would be fine, since he is always asking to ""swim with sissie." So he gets there, and goes in just fine, then as he gets into the pool...the screaming started, and continued for the entire lesson! Lol, what an experience for those other kids. I think he will need a few more of those crying sessions before he will be fine. After swimming I headed over to Paper Niche to work on some wedding invites for my cousin, and Wendy Vecchi was teaching classes. I had the opportunity to take an amazing class with her Friday night, and now I am officially hooked on all things inky :). Anyways, getting to point of this post, I was on Facebook scrolling through my newsfeed, and recognized a picture, and realized it was a layout of mine! Trinity Paper Arts featured a layout I had posted to their wall, on their blog!! I couldn't be more ecstatic about my first time being featured!  You can read the post here, and leave a comment too ;). Here is a peek of my layout. Oh I almost forgot, after church on Sunday I spent the entire afternoon at a car dealership, and came home with a brand new car!!! Happy Monday!!  Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was very full, but lots of fun. I decided to play in my scrap room this morning before i attacked my to do list. I brought home some of Bo Bunny's new Country Garden for the Paper Niche on Friday and I couldn't wait to play with it. I did a quick page with a couple of pics from last March when we went to Disney for Jenny's 5th birthday.

Easter happenings

Hello again! I hope you all (all 3 of you, lol) had a great Easter. I had a fun filled weekend with my kids, family and friends, sans hubby, as he was away for work. On Saturday I decided to host an egg hunt for the kids and on Sunday we spent the morning at church and then the afternoon at the beach with some out of town family. It was such a fun, but exhausting weekend! Here are a few pics from the egg hunt.

And lastly, my hubby who obviously knows me too well, brought this home for me tonight when he came back from London. I love how big it is, perfect for these late night "study" sessions, speaking of which, back to my homework I go. Until next time :)

life...

 yes i'm bad at this keeping up with this place stuff. But it's always the usual excuse, life. It's so full, sometimes overflowing, and for that i'm thankful. I'm blessed to have so much going on, because it means I'm alive, and I'm loved! Sometimes life is not such a bad thing after all... At the moment school is keeping me busy, I'm almost through my busiest semester yet! In the meantime, I'm thinking big, got lots going on in my world away from scrapbooking. There are so many possibilities ahead of me, and so for the meantime, I'm in the thinking phase, hoping to choose what's right for me and my family and what will make waking up every day, a lot more fun! I sure do miss being creative. I'm headed to my scrap room to play for a few minutes before I must hit the books! Take care, until next time. 

It's time to Celebrate

Just wanted to share these cards I made for my besties' birthdays this past weekend. It's been so long since I've made cards,  mainly because I'm intimidated by them. However the design came together pretty quickly, so it was easy to duplicate a second one. I used Pink Paislee Sweetness papers and some stamps. I love how rewarding these were, might try my hand at some more soon! Thanks for looking. I'm in my scrap room tonight, making some tags for the kiddos and hubby's Valentine's presents tomorrow. :) Hope you all have a lovely Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

Happy Thursday everyone! Today is my first "quiet" day for the week. I'm home with my lil guy for most of the day, catching up on schoolwork and housework along with errands, then it's off to school this evening. I did this layout over the weekend, from some scraps i had left over, along with some really old embellishments! I love it when I use up my old stuff, makes all the buying feel justified, ever so slightly. ;)

A mini

 Here again, this is definitely a record, lol! I wanted to share a little mini book that's still in progress. I started this oh sometime last year, when my boss Tammy gave me this Fancy Pants kit, a leftover from when they visited us at the store. I decided to do a mini instead of the usual layout because I had almost the whole line. So, my goal for this mini is just INSPIRATION, mostly in the form of quotes, which I've always loved. Here's what I've done so far.

Chichen Itza

Hope you all are having a great week, we're halfway to another weekend, woot!! This is my second page I've done from our Anniversary getaway. We visited the pyramids at Chichen Itza while we were in Mexico, what an awesome experience! School is crazy busy this semester, not really sure how I'm managing so well, but I sure hope it continues.

Destination: Adventure

I'm back to share another layout I had put together sometime around the holidays. These pics are from our 10 year anniversary vacation to Mexico in November 11'. I used Teresa Collins travelogue line and lots of brown and kraft. I've got over 500 pictures to scrap from that trip (out of 1200!) and I managed to scrap a whole 4! Just popping in to share a quick layout I put together using Echo Park's "A Boy's Life" papers I picked up recently. I love the colors and patterns in this line. This picture is from about a year ago when my little guy was only 1 and a half. It's all flying by sooo fast :(.

Ok my first real post for this year, and it's a layout from last year, lol. It's one I did as a sample for the Paper Niche back when we got the Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth line in stock. I have a bunch more to share, stuff I've done here and there, amidst my crazy schedule. Some days I wonder if it will ever slow down, and I realize it probably won't and when it does I"m sure I'll want it all back! Blessed to be stressed as they say. I'm fighting a losing battle to the cold, can't wait til it's over. Until then, just gotta keep it moving! Have a great rest of the week.

It's been such a long time since I've been on here, and for many different reasons, mainly, my cup is just overflowing at the moment!
